When I merge excel list to Word I lose the first zero of zip code - comes in
as 8401
instead of 08401. How do I correct? Thank you.

Is the ZIP code set up as a string variable in Excel?

Thank you for your quick reply. Could you please elaborate on set up of "string
variable" - I did format the cells to Special - Zip Code.
