Hi I trying to change default time field settings to a 24hr clock setting in
a word mail merge time field, the data comes from Excel. It's the right
format in Excel but changes when it goes into the word mail merge!

Can I change it, if so how .....? thanks in advance  Richard

Use the appropriate time switch on the field

Something like - { Mergefield fieldname \@ "HH:mm" }
