I am mail merging an email from Micorsoft word to approx 5,000 customers in
my database.  My datafile is on a excel spreadsheet.  The merge works fine
and loads up the Outlook outbox, but Outlook stops sending after about half
of those emails.  Outlook still responds, and doesnt show any specific error
message, it just stops sending the mail merged files.  When I restart, the
messages are still there, but they dont send.  I do a test message at that
time, and that message goes out, and the remaining messages dont send.  The
progress box says preparing to send receive, but I have left it that way for
hours thinking that it need time to process but it still didnt work.  My
computer has plenty of memory and processor speed.  If any one can help
please let me know.

It sounds more like an Outlook issue.  I would suggest posting to an Outlook
newsgroup.
