Greetings,
I had create a mailmerge in word 2000 using an Excel spreadsheet for data.
Worked
like a champ.  No problems.

Received a new computer with Word 2003 on it. Copied my data to the new
machine.
Ran my mailmerge and the numbers in the fields went from "number with two
decimal places" to
"number with infinite decimal places".  In word 2000 it had the number
format I defined in the
Excel cell, now it doesn't.

How do I fix this ?

thanks,
D
