I have an excel spreadsheet sorted by a specific field for
my database in my Word Merge. I am trying to use the "Next
Record If" feature to compare the next record with the
current one and if my specific field is the same, I want
it to combine the next data record into the current merge
document.  If the next record is different, I want to
start a new merge document.  So far it does work, but if
the next record is the same it just repeats the
information from the current data. How can I have only
unique records print per merge document.

Hi Rachel,

See the "Multiple items per condition" item under the "Special merges"
section of fellow MVP CIndy Meister's website at
http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/MergFram.htm

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
