Using Office 2003, merging with Excel data, choosing a Directory from Word as
the type of document, the Word table first row headings above the merge
fields repeats for each record instead of just once at the top of each page.
I've tried turning on and off "Heading Rows Repeat" and I've tried adding a
"Next Record" merge field below the last column field. Nothing works. I've
had to add the first row to a header in the Main document and play with
getting alignment to the top of the data. Is there any way to repeat the
first row table headings in Word to repeat only once per page in the
Directory merge result?
Thanks for any help! Annie

No, you will need to add the heading after executing the merge.

Thanks! I guess either that or continue adding to header. Thanks Doug. Annie
