I have the numeric number for my barcode. I need to know
how to convert this mail merged field so it prints the
barcode and not the two or three digit number. I don't
know how the inserted field should be formatted?
Thanks!

I want to add that I AM NOT IN the Envelopes and Labels
under the tools menu. I am in mail merge. I am trying to
print my number that I have already into a barcode on
postcards that I am printing.
Thanks!

Assuming you have a barcode font, use Alt-F9 to display the merge field that
is inserting your bar code, e.g.

{ MERGEFIELD mybarcode }

then format the "M" using the barcode font, and add a \*charformat switch to
make it look something like

{ MERGEFIELD mybarcode \*charformat }
