I'm trying to find a way to disable the Click and Type
alignment indicator to the side of the I beam.  It
confuses my students.
  Any suggestions?
To go along with this, I'm using Word 2002 10.0.  When
I follow directions to Tools... Options... Edit tab,
there is no "Enable Click and Type" check box, nor a
Click and Type section.  Otherwise I'd just turn the
blasted thing off and see if that helped.  So... How does
one turn off Click and Type in Word 2002 10.0?
  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you don't see a Click and Type section or check box, then possibly your
Word Data key is damaged. Try rebuilding it as described in
