Simple question . . . the "save as" option has
disappeared from my File menu.  How do I get it back?

I am using MS Word 2000.

Thanks

Mike,

The easiest way is probably to right click and unused portion of the menu
bar, click customize>commands.  In the categories window select File, in the
commands window find and drag the SaveAs command back to your File menu bar.

If it gets more complicated, see:

Tools/Customize/Commands, category: File. Find the command
and drag it to the toolbar location.

OR, if you haven't customized your toolbar otherwise, go to
Toolbars instead of Commands, select the Menu Bar and click
"Reset".
