since there is no "Repeat" toolbar button available in
Excel (even though the command shows up in the Edit menu),
how do I copy the button from Word?  Someone gave an
answer to this in one of these newsgroups at one time, but
I forgot how.

Hi, Rich,

Open both Word and Excel (not necessary but easier). In Word, open the
Tools > Customize dialog. If the Repeat button isn't on a toolbar yet,
temporarily drag it from the dialog to any toolbar. Then right-click
the button and select Copy Button Image.

Now go into Excel and open its Tools > Customize dialog. Right-click
the Replace button and select Paste Button Image.

For other methods, including images that aren't on any button yet, see
