'Cents' symbol.

Dollar signs ($) are available on the keyboard. Cent
signs are not. I can not find one in the Word 'Insert
symbol' choices either. Is there no such thing as a typed
cents sign? Thanks!

Try Charmap.exe which is usually installed in Windows > Start > Programs >
Accessories > System Tools

The built-in keyboard shortcut for that in Word is Ctrl+/, c. For more, see

I tried using the Ctrl+/,c but it would not bring up the cents symbol. Please help me to know how to create this symbol

Press the Ctrl key and the forward slash at the same time. Release both,
then type c.
