I am using Word 2000 and would like to add additional
template documents to my options when I select File - New
DOcument. I would like these templates to appear in a Tab
labeled My Templates. I use to be able to do this by going
into C: Program Files -> Windows -> Application Data and
so forth. But I have tried to add to the 1033 folder and
it hasn't appeared.

Hi Joanne

You need to save your templates in (subfolders of) your own user templates
directory, which is normally in your profile under 'Documents and Settings'.
You can find the path from Tools > Options > File locations.

The 1033 folder contains Word's own templates, and I'm not sure how much
freedom you have to add subfolders to it.
