MS Office Forum / Word / Menus and Toolbars / February 2004Missing toolbars
Seems I'm not alone with this problem. My toolbars failed to come up when I booted up. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, tried running from disc. No toolbars in Word. Toolbars in Excel, Access, Publisher, etc. all still there. Can't customize a bar for Word, either. Anyone figured this out yet? When you say toolbars does this also include the "Drop-down" Menu toolbar? You can still restore your standard and Formatting toolbars if the Drop-down menu toolbar is still available, some go to View > Toolbars > (check Formatting & Standard). Just set it to local time for you, the web will handle the rest.
