MS Word 2002

Can you automate fields in a custom template so that at
the initiation of a new template project, a window pops up
that allows you to fill in all the automated fields?
Corel Word perfect does offer this feature.  How can I do
it in MS Word?

Hi, JimmyMac,

In Word, the "window" that pops up is called a UserForm. You can program it
to fill in actual form fields in the document, or just insert plain
non-field text at bookmarks, or write the data to document variables that
are then displayed by fields.

See http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm to get
started.
