Can a Clipboard be Saved?

I frequently paste about 15 Word created items into a
clipboard. I use those 15 items to answer bundles of
email in Outlook. When I shut down the computer they are
gone and the next time I want to answer a lot of email I
need to go through the process of building the clipboard
again. Kind of a pain. Is there a way to save a clipboard
so that I can bring up those 15 items in a clipboard with
the few clicks of a mouse? Thanks for any help! Steven

I save many such snippets as signatures in Outlook Express. Presumably you
could do the same in Outlook.

Signatures are probably simplest - and work in Outlook - but AnswerTool
http://www.answertool.com/download.html is another possibility.

That is a GREAT idea. Marvelous. Fantastic.

Thanks.

You can also add the command "ControlRun" to some toolbar or menu ("Tools >
Customize > Commands tab > All commands").

It allows you to start Clipbrd.exe, which in turn allows you to save the
current clipboard content to a *.clp file, or to open a *.clp file (which
then replaces the current clipboard content).

Klaus

Another, even easier, way is to simply select some text, and drag it to the
desktop or into some folder.

A "scrap" file will be generated, and you can drag/drop this file back into
a document, or right-click/Copy the content of the scap file to the
clipboard.

I haven't used this method much, but it seems to work fine.

Regards,
Klaus
