I save many such snippets as signatures in Outlook Express. Presumably you
could do the same in Outlook.

Signatures are probably simplest - and work in Outlook - but AnswerTool
http://www.answertool.com/download.html is another possibility.

You can also add the command "ControlRun" to some toolbar or menu ("Tools >
Customize > Commands tab > All commands").
It allows you to start Clipbrd.exe, which in turn allows you to save the
current clipboard content to a *.clp file, or to open a *.clp file (which
then replaces the current clipboard content).

Another, even easier, way is to simply select some text, and drag it to the
desktop or into some folder.
A "scrap" file will be generated, and you can drag/drop this file back into
a document, or right-click/Copy the content of the scap file to the
clipboard.
I haven't used this method much, but it seems to work fine.
