We use macro to do letter merges.  We wanted to copy
these macros to another computer but, unlike WordPerfect,
we cannot copy specific macro files.  We have to copy our
whole normal.dot file to the other computer.

Does anyone know a way to add a macro or how to copy
specific macros without altering the normal.dot file on
another computer?

Thanks.

Macros are only text listings, so you could copy and paste between macro
editors, or you could create the macros in separate modules and use the
organizer to move them between templates, or you could store them in add-in
templates and share or distribute those, or you could save them in the
document templates that require them which is probably the best place for
them, and use the workgroup folder to share the templates between users. You
could even store them in the documents, though this raises macro security
issues and is therefore not a good plan.
