Microsoft word opens up with the word test in the first
line!  I can delete it but it comes back when I open word
again.  It is annoying how do I get rid of it permanently?

Thanks,

Harold

See <URL: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/BlankDocNotBlank.htm>.

In the future, try to pick a newsgroup, like application.errors or newusers
that might have more to do with your question than does one on customizing
menus and toolbars. You're likely to get more answers, and quicker.

See the MVP FAQ: <URL: http://www.mvps.org/word/> which is awesome!
