MS Office Forum / Word / Menus and Toolbars / February 2004Format Painter does not work correctly
My Format Painter (the paintbrush on the toolbar) in Word 2002 does not accurately copy the formatting to the painted text. For instance, if I try to grab the formatting from Times New Roman/Bold/12, I will usually get Times New Roman/Italics/12 on the text that I am trying to copy the formatting to.
