I have been unable to find my tool or menu bar on MS Word
2000. The only thing that happens when I open Word is a
blank sheet of paper. I have followed all the instructions
on Microsoft help web site, such as ALT+V and then press
T. Nothing happens. Excel and the other programs are fine.

I even went as far a deleting Windows and then
reinstalling it, that didn't work either.

Are there any suggestions? Help Please, Please.

If you browsed throught this newsgroup group, it would have taken you no
more than a few minutes to find a similar post to which the following
response has been posted:

One post is enough! Here is my response to your other one.

Hi Stephen,

When using these newsgroups, it is useful to look at the answers to previous
posts before jumping in with a "me too." If you are having difficulty doing
that you may want to look at http://www.gmayor.com/MSNews.htm for tips.

Suzanne Barnhill has twice answered this question by recommending that a
person with this problem look at the solutions set forth in:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm

BTW: ALL CAPS IS ANNOYING and translates in netspeak as shouting. Please
avoid.
