Can anyone please advise how I may "unhide" the "File ...
Edit ... View ......... Help" menu in Word 2000. Or do I
perhaps have a dreaded virus?

Not a virus, just an all-too-common Word 2000 problem caused by a damaged
Registry key. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm
