How do I display the file extensions in the open or save
boxes in Word?  I've clicked on the "details" and it just
shows name.

Thanks

This is a Windows setting. In Windows Explorer, choose Tools | Folder
Options | View and clear the check box for "Hide file extensions for known
file types."
