Where are the AutoText entries stored?  I want to back up
that file in case of future computer crashes, etc., but I

AutoText is stored in templates. It is stored by default in the normal.dot
template. You may want to look at <URL:
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/general/filestobackupcontent.htm>.
