Hi,
for my personal dots, I created a seperate directory "My dots", which
appears correctly in the New - Templates Window. But: I want to have it
at the very first position, instead of the "General" templates. Is there
a way to re-arrange this order?
Thanks for help

No. The "General" tab is a compilation of the contents of your user
templates folder and the workgroup templates folder with installed
templates.

You can have your folder as the one to first open if you move normal.dot
into it then set tools > options > file locations > user templates to point
to your folder, but then your folder will be seen as the General tab and the
original general tab above it in the tree will not be shown at all.
