My Acrobat Icon has disappeared from Word. Does anyone
know how to fix this problem? I've looked under
customized toolbar and there's no reference to Acrobat.

If you've upgraded Word, you need to reinstall Acrobat. Have you checked to
be sure that the PDFMaker.dot template is still in Word's (or the Office)
Startup folder?

The Acrobat icons are placed by the pdfmaker.dot add-in which should be
located in the Office startup folder. If you install an old copy of Acrobat
to a version of Word that post dates it (as opposed to upgrading Word) it
can find its way into the wrong startup folder and Word will not see it. The
folder in question should be at
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP
where 11 is the office version - here Office 2003. Office versions before
2002 did not have the Office number in the path.
