Menu Problems

I just went from MS Office Pro 2000 to MS Office Pro 2003.

Since doing this I have had repeated problems with the
menu in MS Word 2003. My Adobe / Quickword menu options
keep disappearing and other personal menu inserts I have
created to run certain macros, forms etc.. are there one
minute and gone the next - most often gone.

Is this a bug in MS Word 2003??

What can I do to prevent this from happening in the
future?

Thanks
Bryan

G'day "Bryan" <bryan.keo@sasktel.net>,

Do you have v6.01 of Acrobat? That fixes the problems for that tool
AFAIK.

Yes I do and no change.

This problem is not unknown and is caused by badly written add-ins - usually
Adobe's - that interfere with user added menus. Unfortunately Adobe has not
sen fit to allow user tampering with its macros, or this problem would have
been fixed long ago.

The solutions are to only load Acrobat when you need it, or to use toolbars
instead on menus for your supplementary commands. See

Thanks Graham the toolbars work just great. A really neat
and powerful work around. Again thanks.
