I can't get level 3 or higher in my headings to work
right. Example:

1.0
1.1
1,1,1
1,1,2
2.0
2.1
1.1.1 ?

What's this? I tried to restart numbers from this point
only and a myriad of other options but I can't get it to
work. In Word 97, it works like a champ. Any help?

Make sure you have outline numbering set up strictly according to the
instructions at
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html. This makes
heading numbering virtually unbreakable.
