I have customised the "sendto" folder on the right click menu. but am trying
to add to the part where it says export to excell

I am using xp with office xp professional, I use ebay to sell stuff and word
to print address labels, and want to be able to right click the address,
then choose export to word, it has excell by default so there must be a way
of telling the computer how to do it .

i can export the addreess to excell but then printing the labels is so
impossible as the template for them is in word

thanks in advance

Hi Pingu,

In which application are you wishing to customize the "Send to" menu? You
should ask in the group responsible for that application.

click the link scroll to the yellow postage chart and right click the chart you will see what I mean it has been doing my head right in now for ages
as what i need it to do is export adresses from the checkout straight to word without opening it up first
I mean there must be a way of customizing this menu as when i installed office xp it added excell itself

But you are already doing this in Word, so exporting to Word doesn't make
any sense.

He is doing this from the Internet... from a Web page, he/she wants to
export the content to Word.

As Cindy wrote, you should be asking this question from a Newsgroup relevant
to the application you want to do this from, i.e. Internet Explorer, unless
it Netscape or Mozilla? Just for IE, there are so many newsgroups related to
IE, you should look them up and find the one appropriate to your IE version
and OS.

If using IE, try
   microsoft.public.win98.intenet.browser
for example.

I am not doing it in word already i am in just intenet exploreer but it
makes no difference where i am i need to change that menu to show export to
microsoft word, so you see it makes sense to export to word as i do not want
while i am in IE to have to open word, and then copy and paste the
information in if i could jus tselect it then right click and seleect export
to word word would then open and then teh info would be inserted for me that
is what i mean

Well, this is a Word newsgroup, so we generally only help manipulate Word.
You need to find a different newsgroup and ask some IE specialists how to
change the contextual menus in IE.  So yes, it does matter very much where
you are.
