Missing drop down menus

In office 2001 for mac I have the issue of my drop down
menus going missing. An example is when I go to the
Insert menu and go down to the picture option the drop
down or slide out menu (not sure what the proper term is)
will not show. I have tried resetting the prefs to no
avail. Is there a trick to fixing this without
reinstalling.

Your issue involves Word 2001 for the Macintosh, check the following
newsgroup, you will get a better answer relating to your version of Word.

Andre, please stop referring people to microsoft.public.word.macword2001.
The preferred NG for Mac issues is now
