This is for my mom who does not have internet access.
She has Windows ME as her operating system.  Originally,
while using Microsoft Works (version 6.0), a list of the
last 4 documents opened appeared at the bottom of her
file menu (above "exit").  Somehow, she inadvertently
changed how the file menu works, because the document
list no longer appears there.  She would like to get it
to work as it originally did.  I looked at her computer
but could not find a way to change that, and couldn't
find anything in help.  Maybe I'm not looking up the
right areas.  I know this is a Word newsgroup, but I
couldn't find one for Works so I hope someone out there
can help me anyway.  Thanks.

Jeanette,

In Word (I don't have Works either) it is
Tools>Options>General and check Recently Used File List.

The newsgroup for Works is microsoft.public.works.win. I would suggest
looking at Tools | Options for the setting, if any.
