Have XP operating system.  Auto backups of office apps are
filling up network drive..

What registry entry could be used to prevent auto backups
of Word?

I'm not sure whether you can set this manually via the
Registry; I think you'd need a system policy (see the Office
Resource Kit). In the Word UI, it's under Tools/Options/Save.

Cindy.

Your response works for each user individually.  We can
change the registry for each individual user but we want
to change it the registrt so it will be COE for our office.

Any ideas?

As I said: system policy. These are handled in the Office
Resource Kit. If you need more help with this, try an Office
setup or the word.setup.networking newsgroup.
