I have a custom letterhead that I created in Word 97 and
am now using Word 2002.  After opening the document and
typing it wants to double space all lines.  I have gone
in and changed spacing to single, but it still does
this.  Any suggestions?

Have you perhaps got the File > Page SetUp  Layout Vertical alignment set to
Justified?
