Hi,

I just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office XP on my
friends computer, and he seems to think that there are
not the same amount of options available in the Track
Changes tool. Is this the case or can these other options
be turned on somewhere?? He said that on the Menu there
were something like 3 other choices within Track Changes.

Hi Stephen

There were major changes (by no means all to the good :-) ) to Revisions in
Word XP.

Compare and Merge documents has moved to top level of Tools menu and isn't
under Track Changes any more.

Most of the other stuff is available from the new Reviewing toolbar. The old
dialog for accepting/rejecting changes can be added back to the toolbar -
it's called ToolsReviewRevisions in the Command list. (If you drag it to the
reviewing bar, it then has the default title of 'Accept or Reject Changes').
