MS Office Forum / Word / Menus and Toolbars / June 2004Block Delete feature
While working on document in Word 2000, I try to delete a word in my title. I highlight and press "delete" on the keyboard. It does not delete but at the lower left-hand corner of the screen I see Block Delete? Yes(y) No(n) When I say (y) the word is deleted otherwise it will not delete. I opened a new document and the same thing happens. Any ideas? Peggy, Easy fix.
