Word 2000 tools menu

I reinstalled Office 2000 Professional (with Word 2000)
after doing a Full Restore and the automation error popped
up so the mfg said to find the files hp*.dot and change
the extension to .old. After that envelopes/labels
vanished from the tools menu. How do I get it back.

I don't know what hp*.dot is supposed to be a reference to - but the
