Hi,
I have set up the toolbars in word 2003 and I was wanting
to save the set up  to a file so if anyone changes it I
can reset it easily.
It is possible in Paint Shop Pro but I cant find a way in
Word ?
Any ideas.

Hi Painter

The toolbars will be in a template. If you didn't change the Save In box in
the Customize dialog, they'll be in Normal.dot. Keep a backup copy of the
appropriate template file. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/FilesToBackup.htm for more info.

Hi, a fellow PSP user!! <g>  (I'm PSP8.)

Yes, saving the "workspace" in Word is as easy as saving the workspace in
PSP.  The toolbars, etc., get saved in the default or standard template, as
Jay said, the "normal.dot" file.  Back that up and you can take anywhere.  I
carry around mine on a floppy for various programs (WordPerfect, Excel and
Word).  Very handy and easy to have.

(p.s., in Excel, the toolbars are kept separate from a standard template,
though, and one has to save 2 files.  Just as an fyi.  The standard template
in Excel is "book.xlt" and the toolbars are "Excel.xlb").  hth! <g>

Happy PSPing! <lol>
