Hello,
I am assisting an individual who hates to see non-
printing characters on his screen.  However when ever he
opens a document,  the non printing characters appear.
He will turn them off by means of the button on his
toolbar and they come right back.
How do I prevent this from happening?  Is there a
keyboard combination that MS has assigned to toggle
Show/Hide on and off?  This person is also vision
impaired and uses a screen reader and as a result, we
have not fully ruled out that tool as playing a role in
this.  Any insights at all would be appreciated.
