I have set up footers on a 5 page document w/a different
first page footer.  However, I am unable to adjust the
footer margins on the rest of the document w/o it
affecting the footer margin on the first page.  The footer
margin on the first page is 2".  I would like to have a 1"
footer margin on the rest of the document.  Does anyone
have any suggestions?

You don't change the footer margin; just change the size of the footer. Add
Space Before to the First Page Footer text (or paragraph) to push the
document body up. This will not affect subsequent pages.
