Joe,

That's a good question because I working on the same
problem. I make a word-file in 2000 my college alters a
few things and when I send it to a client which uses XP-
version all the corrections are visible.

So I also would like to know how I can remove corrections.

Greethings,

Michael

You (or your colleague) needs to accept/reject all changes
before sending the file, that's certain.

And you may also want to turn off Track Changes (Tools/Track
Changes) before sending it out.

You mean make it so that Word can't use track changes at
all? this isn't possible, it's integrated into the product.
What problem are you having, more specifically?
