I have WinXP and Office 97.

Every now and then the Office Assistant appears with "Welcome to Microsoft
Word" and some options. I don't need it and often it won't go away for all I
tried.

How do I get rid of it?
TIA

By the way, does Office 97 work pretty well with XP Home?
