MS Office Forum / Word / Menus and Toolbars / September 2004Get rid of Office Assistant
I have WinXP and Office 97. Every now and then the Office Assistant appears with "Welcome to Microsoft Word" and some options. I don't need it and often it won't go away for all I tried.
