Hope you can help. I use MS word (have a old MS office 97 that I
like) and what I would like to do is 'set it' so it STAYS on '''Times
Roman font as the default font"" I have fooled with computer for a
while now, and have found, that when something goes wrong, most
of the time the problem is something I have failed 'to do', and it is
usually some small detail I have left out. Again, I hope you can
steer me in the right direction. thanks in advance. cl 73

If the font is changing for some reason, it may be because Word is applying
heading styles automatically. See

This is how its done in Word2000, not sure in Word97: In Word at menu,
go to 'Format', then 'Font' and there choose your font settings and
press 'default' on the bottom.
