I'm using Word 2002 (10.4524.4219) SP-2 with Windows XP
2002 Professional SP 1. When I right click a style in the
Styles and Formatting pane, I am unable to use the option
for Select All Text. For some reason this option is listed
as "Select All Text:Not Currently Used."

How do I turn this feature on? I really want to use it.

To make this option available, you have to enable "Keep track of formatting"
on the Edit tab of Tools | Options (with the downside that your Styles list
will list every little change in formatting you make).
