I have a client who has a word doc in which he created specific auto-text
options.  He did do a "save-all" but when ever anyone else opens the document
it does not show the auto-text from the doc.  It will bring up the normal.dot
auto-text options.  How can we fix this??

Hi Kat,

AutoText can't be saved in a document. It must be saved in a template --
unless you change the Look In box in the dialog, it will be in your client's
normal.dot. Since he isn't sending the template along with the document, the
AutoTexts stay at home. See
http://www.word.mvps.org/faqs/customization/AutoText.htm for more.

Depending on what your client is using the AutoText for, there may or may
not be a usable substitute.
