I have gotten a new computer at work and would like to know if anyone knows
where the files for custom created tools bar are located so I can copy the
files from the old pc to the new one. I really don't want to have to recreate
all the custom buttons with macros again. I am using Office 2003 running on
Windows 2000.

Custom toolbars are stored in templates (and documents) by default in
normal.dot

See http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step
instructions on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up customizations
including AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, toolbars, macros,
etc.
