Greetings,

Wonder if anyone can help me please.

I have a template for word, which in itself has various boxes and
tables.

I wondered if there is a way to add a 5 figure number (leading zero's)
each time the File | New | xfile is created. This number is to increment
by one each time.
It does not matter if the file is cancelled, that number will just
become 'lost'.

Any help much appreciated.

BIG THANKS

Thanks for the tip. I even managed to make some alterations to it... I
thought I'd forgotten how to.

One thing I have not managed is to use it on more than one PC on a
network....... Same count base for whoever uses it... I'm working on
that one.. I'm not sure how to get the same macro for all users..

Cheers

Kevin
