When searching for a text string it seems that MSWord can only search
forward in the document.  Is there a way to get it to search back?

Thanks for any help,

Huck

By default, Word starts at the beginning of the document and searches down.
If you stop and restart the search, it will search down to the end of the
document and then ask if you want to loop back to the beginning. You can
also explicitly choose to search up (click More in the dialog and select Up
or Down instead of All). Or you can use the browse arrows to Find Next/Find
Previous.
