I remember working in Word and I could always look at the bottom of the screen to see the page number I was on; or the section number; etc.  It even told me what line and what character number (counting from the left).

Now the bottom of my Word documents contain no such useful information.  How did I lose it?  How can I get it back?

Thank you
Bart

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Status bar" box | OK.
