I bought a new HD and did a clean install of all my software. Oddly, Word
2003 is not saving my custom changes to the toolbar (like adding a 'save as'
button, or various 'style' buttons..). As I've done in the past, I open
Word, make the changes to the normal.dot, but after I close and re-open
Word, the toolbar changes disappear and it's back to the default toolbar.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Dean

Reading below (sorry folks) I found the problem and solution:
Problem - I installed Acrobat 7.  Solution - following Suzanne S. Barnhill's
advice, I opened Normal.dot itself, made the changes, and saved. (See her
message for details: Re: Word 2003 toolbar setting not being retained)
