Word 2003, new menu disapears

Hi!

I'm creating a new template with a menu in it. It's there when I create it.
I save, close and reopen the template and, swosh, it's gone. I've also got
Acrobat 6 installed.

Any ideas?

Are you sure you are saving the changes in your template rather than in a
protected normal.dot?

When you use the customize dialog box, it has a spot to designate where the
toolbar gets created and changes are stored.
