When writing program documentation many items (such as class, method and
variable names, etc.) are falsely flagged as spelling errors. Since we
are using a specific type writer-like style for these code snippets the
idea popped up: Is it possible to automatically exclude all snippets
written in a specific style from spell checking?

Yes. In the Modify Style Dialog, click on Format at the bottom left and
select Language...
There is a checkbox for "Do not check spelling or grammar". Check it.
