I've uninstalled/reinstalled from avery.com the wizard, but when I click on
the avery wizard button on the toolbar in word it opens "my computer" rather
than the avery wizard. One avery button still remains on my toolbar after
uninstalling it and rebooting. How do I get rid of this avery button? Why
won't the avery wizard work in ms word? When I have it installed, I can go to
the avery folder in program files and click on the exe file and the wizard
opens, BUT when I click the avery button in ms word, it just opens "my
computer". Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Most users find that the Avery Wizard adds little useful functionality to
what is already available through Word's Envelopes and Labels dialog.

Thx for the quick response, but it really didn't help solve my problem. So
you don't want me to use Avery...I get it. Now.....any idea how I can get rid
of the avery button on my toolbar? I've already uninstalled avery from my pc,
have made sure it's not in program files and rebooted, BUT the button still
shows on my toolbar. Is there something in the registry keys that should be
removed OR is there anything else I can do to get rid of it? Thx much!

Is there an Add-In in the Word or Office Startup folder?

You can remove the toolbar button by pressing Alt and dragging it off. But,
as Charles suggests, it will keep coming back if there is an Avery add-in in
Word's Startup folder.
